From business need to decision.

I'm Ismail, a Data & AI Product Owner and PMO. Since 2021 I've been leading cross-functional data initiatives on the Grand Paris Express: scoping needs with business departments, writing specifications, coordinating contractors and software vendors in agile mode, tracking risks and reporting.

Trained as an information systems engineer, I keep my hands on the tech: I build Medallion pipelines and Power BI reports myself. It lets me speak the same language as data teams and scope solutions that actually ship.

    Coordinator & Product Owner

    NGE · Grand Paris ExpressParis

    Line 15 West, within the construction consortium (NGE, WeBuild, EQUANS, TSO). Product Owner for requirements management with the AITenders vendor, and configuration management (GDC) coordinator.

    • Scoped business use cases and turned them into functional specifications for the AITenders vendor.
    • Defined requirement allocation, traceability and coverage rules ahead of go-live.
    • Built coverage KPIs per work package: status breakdown, ownership and progress over time.
    • Structured the PBS and ran co-coding workshops to harmonise equipment codes across entities.

    Data Manager

    Line 15 East-North, Technical Department. Supported progress tracking, data governance and risk management through structured workflows, automation and reporting.

    • Designed a Medallion pipeline (Bronze, Silver, Gold) consolidating document production data in near real time.
    • Power BI dashboards (S-curves, delays, variances, approval workflows) used by the project's 8 managers.
    • Federated GIS pipeline across 4 stakeholders, with governance rules for quality, naming, refresh frequency and ownership.

    Designed and built a mobile app powered by an AI agent.

    • Azure cloud architecture and an OpenAI model generating personalised suggestions (place, budget, duration).
    • Led a team of 5 in agile sprints through to production on Azure, iterating on user feedback.
